First Day of School!

Dagny started her first day of pre-school today!  She was a little cranky when she first woke up and said she was going to be "upset all day long", but she snapped out of it and started to get excited.  She didn't even complain about me doing her hair or getting dressed and having to put her shoes on (which are things she likes to complain about these days.)

When we walked into her school she took her shoes off herself and set them with all of the other kid's shoes and put her lunch in the designated lunch basket.  She gave me a hug and kiss and took off, sitting down next to some of the other kids listening to the teacher read a story.  What a big girl!

At the end of the day Grandpa and I picked her up and she said she had a "really fun time at school today!" She also said her teachers were nice and that she was a good girl and ate all of her lunch...lol.  I'm glad nothing traumatic happened!  Now we are in a new daily routine that is actually working out quite well for all of us.  Even Julian is enjoying his naps in the car on the way to and from school. :)
